A fairly average month as regards temperature and rainfall. From the 1st till the 6th saw average temperatures with some rain at times. The 7th till the 11th saw rather cooler temperatues, but with a very cold windchill and much drier. The 1st air frost since 19th October ocurred on the 11th. From the 12th until the 16th saw the continuation of the rather cold weather, with light rain at times and with the 1st snowfall of the winter on the 12th. The 17th till the 21st saw generally dry and rather cold conditions, with the lowest of the month of -2.3C being recorded on the 18th. From the 22nd till the 28th conditions turned much milder with the highest of the month of 10.7C recorded on the 23rd and the highest min of 8.2C on the 24th. Conditions were much more unsettles with heavy rain at times. From the 29th till the 31st it turned a little cooler with less rain.
