The month was generally mild and wet, however from the 1st till the 3rd it was cold with 2cm of snow falling on the 2nd, this date also seeing the lowest max of 2.0C. From the 3rd until the 24th it remained essentially mild and wet with some heavy rain at times, but also a number of frosts. The highest temperature of the month of 9.9C was recorded on the 8th and the highest min of 7.5C was recorded on the 20th. From the 21st until the 26th it became cooler and somewhat drier, but still some rain at times. From the 27th until the 31st it became much colder with night frosts, the lowest temperature of -4.2C was recorded on the 29th. There was also snow observed on 3 days, giving a maximum accumulation of 7cm on the 28th.
