An rather cool month with very little of interest temperature-wise. There were no hot or very cool spells of weather. The month started warm and sunny with the highest temp of 21.7C being recorded on the 1st. However by the 3rd it had turned cool and unsettled, the lowest max of 12.6C being recorded on this date just 48hrs after the absolute maxima. From the 3rd to the 15th it was generally fairly cool with some heavy rain at times, most notably on the 14th when there was some exceptionally heavy rain with considerable thunder. From the 16th to the 28th it became a little warmer with relitively little rain. The 29th/30th were rather cooler and wetter.
