A rather warm and certainly dry month. From the 1st to the 4th it was reasonably warm with some sunshine, however the lowest temperature of the month of 5.5C was recorded on the 1st. From the 5th to the 10th it became cooler and more unsettled with the lowest temperature of 14.5C being recored on the 6th and a very large amount of rain falling on the 9th. The rain falling on this day would make up the bulk of the total rainfall for the month however. From the 11th until the end of the month little rain was recorded. It was completely dry for 15 days from the 11th until the 26th. The highest temperature of the month of 21.0C was recorded on the 11th. This dry spell was characterised by alternating sunny andcloudy spells. From the 11th to the 14th it was fairly sunny, but the 15th to the 20th was generally cloudy. The 21st to the 25th was sunny but the 26th until the end of the month was generally cloudy again.
